B&B Hotel Louveciennes

We only stayed two nights while visiting Paris, and the buses and trains made getting around really easy. The motel-style layout suited us well, and breakfast was definitely worth the extra cost. The woman who greeted us was friendly and accommodating. Our room was just right, cleaned each day with fresh towels. I’d happily stay here again.

The room itself was nice and pretty standard, but checkout was a really unpleasant experience. Our checkout time was noon, yet the housekeeper came to the door around 11:30 and again between 11:45, repeatedly urging us to hurry. It left us feeling like we weren’t wanted there that day. She tried to tell us something about the room in French, which we couldn’t understand. Once she got someone who spoke English, we were told the room was too dirty. I was shocked, because it seemed fine to me: there were a few wrappers on the table, towels on the floor, and the bed was a little messy. We had to help clean it, even though all that was needed was making the bed and vacuuming. I’ve never had to clean a room ourselves at a hotel. That’s what housekeeping is for. If the staff member hadn’t been so rude, I’d have rated the stay higher, but I’ll never stay here again.

Clean and comfortable, with nothing to complain about.

I liked having a separate entrance straight to my room, without having to walk through shared indoor areas. It was also right by the car, which made unloading suitcases, shopping bags, or sleepy little kids easy. The WiFi signal could be better, and there weren’t many international channels, just French-speaking ones. Still, I had a very pleasant stay and will book here again when I come to Paris.
