The breakfast was lovely, and our host was one of the best. We visited in September, so the pool was unfortunately out of season for us, though I can picture how peaceful and beautiful the house must be in summer. Its furniture and interiors are beyond, and the house itself has an amazing story, having belonged to the same family for generations. The setting is lovely too.

A quiet spot in the countryside, with plenty of activities close by. This is the best guesthouse in the southwest, with superb hospitality in a beautifully decorated historic home and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

The house is elegant, and the decor throughout is magnificent. In a peaceful village in the Lot-et-Garonne, we were welcomed warmly and attentively. If you're not traveling, it's still a lovely place to stop for a relaxing stay.

The heated pool was a real treat, and the garden and house were beautiful and very clean. We stayed in the family suite while passing through for a one-night stop on the way to and from our three-year-old daughter's vacation. It was just right for one or two children. The owners were welcoming and helpful, and the place feels like a little haven of peace. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety and quality products. We spent five days here while attending a trade show in Agen, and even with work on the agenda, we managed to properly unwind in such a peaceful setting. Our room was very comfortable, the house was one of a kind, and its decor felt steeped in history and stories. Géraldine was wonderfully attentive and gave us an incredibly warm welcome. I wholeheartedly recommend Au Bonheur d'Alphonse. We hope to see you again very soon, Géraldine!
