The kids loved the evening activities, and they never got too loud. We also found it easy to explore the Ardèche region from here. The heated pool was a real highlight, clean and roomy enough for everyone, and the staff were helpful from check-in through check-out. The sanitary facilities stayed clean and well looked after. We had such a peaceful, family-friendly week with our kids. We’ll definitely come back.

The team were attentive and quick to help, and the setting gives you a real chance to be close to nature. Everything felt well organized, with good facilities and a great location. The bathrooms especially were spotless. I had an excellent stay and would recommend it 100%.

The main issue is what happens after 6pm: staff are no longer around, so if you need anything, you have to work it out yourself. Then your stay depends on your luck and on other guests behaving well. During my two nights, some people partied in their glamping tent until 2am, and others put up their tent in the middle of the night. I’d only recommend staying here if you’re well equipped and don’t mind losing sleep. The setting itself is very nice, close to the river, and the swimming pool is great. Service is fine and cleanliness is acceptable, but that wasn’t enough to make up for the lack of staff in the evening.

The employees were friendly, and the France employees made us feel welcome. The view and location were nice too. But the mobile homes are very small, old, and poorly maintained. There are no umbrellas by the pool, so you’re in the sun the whole time. Wi-Fi only works right next to reception, and the outdoor showers and toilets were in bad shape and not really clean. We were glad our mobile home had its own toilet. We paid 700€ for a week, which is ridiculous for this standard. The place feels like it’s from the 70s, while the prices are from 2018.

The setting has loads of potential: a river, small waterfall, pond, plenty of shade, and a spot right in the Ardeche. We came back for the third time in 2019 because the location and layout seemed perfect. Almost all the nights, though, were awful. A Dutch group yelled and played music late, including by the waterfall until 2am, and French youngsters also kept the campsite awake. No one seemed to enforce the rules, and management didn’t seem to care. It used to be a family campsite, but now I’m not sure what it is. It’s not for us. We’d booked a specific spot well before the season, and it was confirmed each of the three times we were in touch. When we arrived, we learned it had been given to a large group for the whole season. We were offered a great alternative spot, but the poor communication and the way reception treated us were upsetting. The staff were also unfriendly and didn’t speak English well enough. The facilities were in worse shape, as if no maintenance had been done. Toilet seats are back, yay, but the same broken sunbeds are still there. The showers and toilets were cleaned poorly, which felt like a health hazard. I’ve updated my rating since speaking with the company responsible for the campsite. They helped us find another solution so we could continue our vacation elsewhere. It wasn’t ideal, but we appreciated it. Team Ludo, raise the standards and make it a family campsite again, or be clear about focusing on groups and youngsters.
