Breakfast was okay, but nothing special, and the Wi-Fi really needs work ASAP. I was also surprised at check-in when they asked me to authorize an extra €100 per night. They gave no clear reason beyond a vague comment about making sure guests had enough funds, which didn’t inspire confidence. For a hotel rated 4 stars, the experience felt closer to 3. The rooms and breakfast area seemed dated and could use a thoughtful refurbishment. Service was inconsistent, and a more welcoming, guest-focused approach would help. Given the condition and service, the price didn’t feel like good value. With some investment and more attention to hospitality, the hotel could better meet its stated rating.

The bath was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Reception were especially helpful, and the rest of the staff were friendly and said bonjour every time. The location is beautiful, though there isn’t much nearby and transport links aren’t very helpful. The pillows weren’t great, and for a hotel of this level, the toilet paper is very cheap.

The team were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming from the moment I arrived. They stayed calm and proactive, and nothing ever seemed like a bother. The hotel and spa were excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back, highly recommended!

The service was poor, and the staff weren’t very helpful. There was no internet all week, and nobody notified us or apologized. I do love the riverside location, though. If you enjoy walking, it’s a great area to explore.

The huge 50m outdoor pool and the gym and fitness facilities are the main draws. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice, but only okay, and the corridors were run down and smelled bad. Breakfast was pretty average. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that.
