I stayed in the guest room the previous weekend under my partner's name, and I stand by my opinion despite the owner's reply. The place wasn't cheerful or welcoming: the bed was rickety and felt fit for a fakir, the bread was stale, the coffee questionable and the jam mysterious. It was cold, and the soap was tiny. There was also an open plastic bottle, half full of pinkish liquid, in the fridge, plus a pair of unknown socks and underpants in the chest of drawers. The TV and Saturday rugby match were visible in the freezer downstairs, which serves as the living room. There was hardly any local tourist information either. I could go on. Without exaggerating, I have more unflattering things to say about this accommodation. It seems to me best avoided with pugnacity.
