I picked this place and spent a bit more than usual for a relaxing solo trip, so I was really disappointed by how unclean the room was. There was hair all over the bathroom and dust, and the towel hanger looked so gross I didn't want to use it. The fabric on the decorative pillows and the strap at the end of the bed was falling apart, which honestly grossed me out to have on the bed. The building itself is really charming, the staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect. I have photos I can send if requested.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is great, right in the centre. The hotel itself felt a little old, tired and worn. Some of the breakfast staff were really grumpy.

A nice boutique hotel for either a business trip or a holiday, with parking and a good breakfast. It's in the centre of Macon, about a five-minute walk from the train station or a 20-minute ride from the TGV.

4/10
The location was great, and the people were nice. The lobby and staircases looked good, but our room was a huge letdown. It was a tiny family room, and there was no room to move once the sofa bed was opened. It smelled terrible when we arrived. The bathroom door didn't close properly, and the closet door was completely broken, with an out-of-order safe inside. We won't be back.

The room didn't match its description. The door was bright pink, there was a cigarette butt on the floor, the toilet seat was unstable, and there were hand marks on the shower screen. The light switches were loose, one ceiling light was red, and the bedding was tatty. The whole place made me feel like it was a room for ladies of the night. When we raised the mismatch, both women were extremely unhelpful. I'd NEVER stay here again. AVOID at all costs.
