Eddie is a remarkably hospitable host, and this is a great base for exploring Brittany's sleepy hilltowns. Rostrenen is only 15 km away if you'd like somewhere livelier. The room was clean and comfortable in a large, beautifully rustic manor house, ideal for a stop of a few nights.
2/10
The place was noisy, and the old bed was uncomfortable. It didn't smell nice either, and it could have been cleaner. I didn't like staying here.

Brigitte welcomed us so warmly and looked after us very professionally. We stayed three nights, and everything was just right: generous breakfasts, a clean room, and very comfortable bedding. The house has everything needed for a stopover around Carhaix, and our bicycles were kept safe and secure. Thanks, Brigitte. See you next year!
2/10
The service was catastrophic, and there was no privacy in the bathrooms, with a large opaque shower window. The bedding was awful, and even the children complained about it. Don't bring children here: there's zero tolerance, and he yells at them over the slightest misstep.
8/10
The bathroom was really nice, cool and well maintained, and the bedding was just as good. We were welcomed warmly, and breakfast was ready and waiting when we woke up. Highly recommend.
