It’s a lovely spot, with forest and lakeside walks nearby, and you can stroll around the lake or into Rochefort en Terre. I was thrown by the confusing reviews and photos, so booked without really knowing what to expect. The place turned out to be a modern block of well-equipped chalets overlooking the lake. Getting your bags to the cabin on trolleys is a bit bizarre, but, well, France 😁

We came away feeling rested after a lovely stay by the lake. From our cottage we had a stunning lake view, and it was a peaceful place to recharge in nature and listen to the birds. Rochefort-en-Terre is walkable from here, and Vannes is about 35 minutes away. I highly recommend it!
