We came to Clos Saint Michel for a company cycling event, and the team took great care of our large group so we could enjoy the stay. Special thanks to Fanny, who organized everything for us. The hotel is ideally placed among the Malaucène vineyards, at the foot of the legendary Mont Ventoux, le géant de provence.

It looks like a lovely hotel, but the service and the attitude behind it were awful. My partner broke his leg and needed surgery, so we couldn't make our booking through booking.com. We told both the hotel and booking.com a week ahead. Booking.com said we could get a full refund if the hotel agreed, but the hotel refused and was extremely rude when we asked. I'm very surprised that a hotel this attractive would have such an unkind policy and poor communication.

Villa 'Les Rosiers' at Clos Saint-Michel was excellent, with everything else just right: it's spacious and air conditioned, with an open kitchen, great beds, clean bathrooms and toilets, optional room service, a clean pool, a pleasant garden table and parasol, and a good barbecue. The one small drawback was the basic kitchen equipment. For a villa for 6 persons, there were exactly 6 plates, glasses, forks, and so on. Still, a 5 star place overall!

We came back after our first stay in 2017, and it was just as relaxing and well situated as we remembered. The one disappointment was that they no longer serve food in the restaurant. We had a wonderful meal there in 2017, but this time we had to go into malaucene each night to eat.
