If you can afford it, go play this course. It was one of the five best I've played in Europe, with a royal route through an incredible natural setting and grass like a carpet. Five stars and then some.

Really, really dirty. There was hair in the shower, dirt all over the couch, and yellow pillows, among other things. We left and slept somewhere else because they wouldn't move us to another room without charging a huge amount. We do not recommend this place.

The apartment was decent, but we didn't get the one near the centre that we'd been expecting. The setting is very nice. At breakfast on the balcony, though, heavy drilling from new construction made it hard to talk, and the builders were working Saturdays too. The golf course was pleasant, but not at a professional standard. The bunkers hadn't been raked all season and grass was growing wild along their edges. The greens were okay, if a little long. Maybe the end of May is early in the season, but we still paid the high-season green fee. Think carefully before booking this visit.
