Our car broke down and we were stuck with nowhere to go, so we found this hotel. Ms. Armelle Andreis greeted us so warmly and made the whole stay feel special. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. In the morning she made us a delicious breakfast, then showed us her gallery and how proud she is of her work as a painter.

The lovely courtyard was such a peaceful place to unwind, and the breakfast room, decorated with Armelle's paintings, made each morning feel special. La Maison du Peintre in Mallemort really is a haven of peace, with a charming family home that helped us recharge. Armelle welcomed us so warmly and kindly. She's passionate about painting and happily shares her knowledge and thoughtful advice, so talking with her was both enjoyable and enriching. We left with wonderful memories and already want to return. Thank you, Armelle, for your generous welcome and kindness. You're a great artist.

Armelle's gallery is exceptional, and the garden is incredible. We spent two nights in her charming family home, which has a lovely, regional character. Our room was perfectly clean, and we appreciated the steps Armelle had taken to support social distancing in the house. We had a very happy stay and hope to be back soon.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the painter's house, staying one night in a room with a typical Provençal feel. The linen was lovely, breakfast was very good, and Armelle, our host and a talented painter, made us feel so welcome. Thanks again for your kindness, Armelle. We'd definitely recommend it.
