We spent four nights here on a trip with my mother and sister, and also visited the spa. The gardens were gorgeous, and whoever looks after the statues and grounds deserves a pat on the back. The property looked just as beautiful in person as in the online photos. Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was simple but tasty, and the pool was warm. The spa was excellent, and it was easy to walk into the small town area, to dozens of restaurants, and to the castle and beaches. I’d love to come back.

The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. The hotel is in a great location, with picturesque views. Walk along the foreshore for a stunning look at Cannes and the snow-capped mountains behind it.

Ermitage de L’Oasis sits across from Port Mandelieu-la-Napoule, with pretty views of the marina and nearby golf course. The peaceful setting and private parking were convenient, though parking costs €13 per day. The rooms were spacious, clean and kept up with daily housekeeping, but their dated look was noticeable. The pool is a nice feature, although the daytime bar only serves drinks, with no food for people wanting to stay poolside. The beds were uncomfortable: two mattresses pushed together left an awkward seam, and the large pillows didn’t help. Some room doors didn’t close properly, which concerned me for both security and comfort. The complimentary water bottles weren’t replenished, which seemed to push guests toward buying from the minibar. The hotel restaurant closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, limiting on-site options. For a hotel of this caliber, dining should be more consistent. External bistro guests can park in the hotel lot, which made me concerned for hotel guests’ cars. At the bistro, tables were often left uncleared, so we had to keep our plates on small, inconvenient tables without anywhere to put them. Breakfast was especially disappointing for €23 per person. There was only a small selection of pastries, scrambled and boiled eggs, mushrooms, pancakes, a few slices of salmon, cheese and yogurt. A simple omelette or fried eggs cost another €5 - €6, which felt excessive. Salt and pepper weren’t on each table, so guests had to search for them. As a pregnant guest, I found the choices too restrictive and couldn’t eat much beyond boiled eggs and bread. The staff seemed more focused on charging the breakfast fee than improving the meal. The location and cleanliness were commendable, but the breakfast, bed comfort and service issues fell short of expectations for the overall price and offering.

Being just a short walk from the Mimosa Festival, this hotel was very convenient, with shops and restaurants close by too. My room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with attractive modern decor and a bed that gave me a restful night after the festival. Breakfast was a highlight: lots of choice, food that exceeded expectations, fresh juice and delicious pastries. The staff were warm from arrival, check-in was easy, and they were always ready to answer questions or help with anything. I had a fantastic stay during the Mimosa Festival and the hotel exceeded what I expected throughout. I’d happily recommend it and hope to return.

The rooms were large and comfortable, with lovely bathrooms, and the gardens are cared for with real affection. The service was great, including English-speaking staff, and we were greeted warmly whenever we came and went. What a beautiful hotel. Five stars all round, and I’ll definitely return. Thanks for such a special visit. 💗
