Hotel Bel'Alp Manosque

The front desk was only open for a few hours, the vending machines didn’t work, and there wasn’t even coffee available outside breakfast hours. The dated exterior felt very unwelcoming and could use a power washer. I had to stay here for a guided photo excursion, and it was the worst place I’d been to since college. The rooms were tiny, old, and smelled like the 70s. The shower and toilet shared one stall, with the sink in another, so there was nowhere to wash your hands after using the toilet. If you left the shower closet door open, the whole room smelled like a public bathroom. The towels were old, and after the maid made the bed, she left the room door open, so don’t count on safe storage for your valuables. Avoid it. Find somewhere better or stay home. You won’t enjoy it. All the negative reviews are true.

We were out all day and had booked the room for two days. No one had told us the card needed to be charged again. When my friends woke up, the very rude woman said no, then told them to shut up. She should have asked them to recharge the card instead. They were just about to leave. She was very impolite and unprofessional.

It’s a decent budget hotel, though not the cleanest. The concierge was so helpful that we won’t forget it.

The rooms were awful, very small, and nowhere near worth the high price I paid for a week while working in the area. A very bad hotel.
