Debora’s Ayurveda treatment made a huge impression on me. It’s a deep tissue therapeutic massage, and she worked out knots in my back that had been there for years. I’ve tried plenty of other massage therapists, but none had managed that. She told me she trained in Sri Lanka and has practiced this therapy for many years. I was amazed by her skill. The Chateau itself is beautiful and quiet, with lovely gardens and a spot right by the river. The owners are very pleasant, too. Do book the crystal veranda for tea and appetizers if you can. All those windows and the river views made it such a lovely place to sit. Thanks for everything!

I wanted to stay here, but after two calls with the person answering the phone, the booking became unavailable and unappealing because of how poorly it was handled. The place did not come across as family-oriented, friendly, or respectful at all.

The massage was good, and the staff were very friendly. It’s a nice hotel with special decor, and the swimming pool is nice too. Good place to recommend.

The setting is so lovely that you may not want to leave. Château St. Claude also has exceptionally comfortable beds, the kind I’ve rarely found in a hotel, and the comfort overall is exceptional. For anyone who loves charming places, it’s a lovely place to stay. The welcome feels worthy of a top hotel.

We first came across Château Saint-Claude and its lovely residents in 2019, and we’re already looking forward to returning. The hostess welcomed us with so much warmth and love, and a visit here feels enriching in every way. The castle has beautiful, well-kept rooms that take you back to another century. Outside, there’s the lovely energy along the Saône River, the carefully kept grounds, and the pool for a swim. We give it five stars and highly recommend it. This definitely wasn’t our last visit.
