La Maison du Chevalier - Chambres et tables d'hôtes - adults only

The sunny garden was a lovely place to enjoy the peaceful mountain scenery and fresh air, and there was plenty of parking. In the morning, Robert and Ellen served a gorgeous breakfast with little touches that showed how much they care about their service. We stayed here while traveling from Spain to the UK and needed somewhere to sleep in the mountains. The location worked perfectly for our route. Robert and Ellen were incredibly welcoming, and their gentle, friendly dog Bear was lovely too. Their house is beautifully decorated, and both our room and bathroom were just right. The room was even nicer than we expected, with luxurious details that weren't visible in the online photos. The bed was very comfortable. At night it was completely dark with the lights off, and the mountains were so quiet and peaceful that we slept like babies without closing the curtains. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, including hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. If you're looking for a retreat from city life, this is a great place to get away. We highly recommend this B&B and Robert and Ellen to other travelers.
