I had to ask for a bath towel because there wasn't one, and there was no soap or other amenities. The shower head was completely green with oxidation and clearly hadn't been maintained. The bathroom fixtures and bath mat were dirty, the tiled floor crunched underfoot, and the place was dusty and full of cobwebs. Getting there meant walking through mud from the rain, and the finishing touches were pretty rough. There was no bedside lamp, and I could hear my roommate's entire phone conversation through the walls. The dog had its quarters outside our door and spent the night barking with the other dogs. That supposed “little corner of paradise” was nowhere to be found. Heaven and hell must be next door, because I ended up in the wrong place.

We had a terrible night, with the other tenants getting up at 7:00 AM. Sound carries so badly between rooms that we could hear people whispering at night, along with every noise from the shared toilet and shower. We had to wait for the neighbors before using either, and no sanitary measures were being taken during the COVID-19 pandemic. There was dust and spiders everywhere, and no cleaning. The owner also didn't want my 3-year-old son playing in the garden in the afternoon, apparently because it bothered the other tenants, or the owner. A very intrusive dog made the stay unpleasant too. There were no towels or hand soap, just the bare minimum. Breakfast cost €8, which felt expensive when I recognized the Lidl bread rolls and cream puffs. I doubt the owner is registered as a guesthouse, since payment had to be in cash on arrival. We'd paid for four nights, but left the next day after the owner gave us a partial refund. For the same price we stayed at an Ibis hotel, with privacy, comfort, an all-you-can-eat breakfast, TV, towels and soap, a clean room on arrival, and peace and quiet. This place isn't worth €75.

We didn't stay for the whole booking and left early. The next room shared our bathroom, and the rooms had very poor soundproofing. There was hair in the bathroom and the curtains were dirty. The gentleman said he'd reimburse us, but he never did. Avoid this place!

The welcome was friendly, the bedding comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet. The price was very reasonable too. The weak point was the poor soundproofing, and sharing the bathroom, even though it was mentioned, wasn't very practical. I'd come back, but only if I rented both rooms for more peace and quiet.
