We cycled into Epernay for champagne tours, which was easy, and the guest house is ideally placed in a quiet suburb. Our ground-floor room was spacious, with a little terrace outside for coffee and getting the bikes ready. Parking felt secure, and the house champagne was very enjoyable. A quaint, peaceful and welcoming place.

The lady was very friendly, and breakfast came with fresh fruit. Epernay is close by, though you’re staying just a little farther out. A handy extra is the parking you can reserve ahead of time, so the car is locked up, especially useful if it has champagne in it.

The family suite works really well for two couples, with the bedrooms separated. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and we enjoyed a glass of Champagne in the garden lounge at a reasonable price, from Sandrine and her husband's own winemaking. Sandrine was a warm, attentive host. My husband wasn't feeling well on departure day, so she let us keep the accommodation until early afternoon. It's a lovely base for exploring Epernay and the surrounding area.

We had a spacious room with excellent bedding, and the private parking was a real plus. Breakfast was generous and excellent. The hostess was so friendly and attentive, and gave us great tips for seeing the region. I'd definitely recommend it, and we'll return.
