Our vacation was nearly thrown off by car trouble, but then we met Frédéric, the manager of Laubertière. He was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped us out so much. We ended up discovering an exceptional place: an elegant, immaculate room, a spacious bathroom, top-level comfort, and a pool shared by just three rooms, all at a very reasonable price. It's only five minutes from the Île d’Oléron, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. The photos don't quite show how good the place really is.

The owner of this lovely gîte made us feel so welcome and looked after us with care. We appreciated the suggestions for places to visit and eat, as well as the homemade pastries. After our cycling trip, the swimming pool was a real treat. And a special mention for the linens, I'm a Linvosges fan!!! 😊 Marie-Laure

Private parking was handy, and thanks to Frédéric for the restaurant recommendations. He was attentive to what we needed while staying discreet. We had a perfect three-night visit. The place is magnificent, renovated in 2018, and our tastefully decorated room was clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely too. Breakfast was excellent, with local products, fresh fruit salad, homemade cake, fresh bread, jams, and honey.

We found L'Aubertière quiet and lovely, with a garden, swimming pool, and private parking. The host gave us a really warm welcome. Our room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was perfect, with local and homemade products, and the value for money was excellent. We highly recommend it!
