Les Deux Abbesses en Vert

We had a wonderful week at Laurence's gîte with 10 adults and 8 children. The peaceful setting, the house's charm and decor, and all the amenities made it a great stay. Even with this summer's unpredictable weather, we could enjoy the huge terrace for meals and the fire pit. The bedrooms are spacious enough for everyone to have privacy. Nothing to complain about at all!

Laurence took time to show us her beautiful horses and tell us about her passion for them. It was peaceful and unforgettable. We had a wonderful family stay at Les Deux Abbesses en Vert; every room had its own character, lovely decor, and nice amenities. This place exceeded our expectations, and I'd highly recommend it. Laurence welcomed us so simply and warmly that we felt at ease straight away. We spent a night wishing we could slow time down. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, and we'd recommend the Epona room for its magical view. But what really charmed us was the bucolic setting and the horses. We'll definitely come back.

Laurence spent nearly three hours with the children, chatting with them and introducing them to her purebred Arabian horses. They also loved the afternoon tea and petting session. Laurence had thoughtfully filled our fridges with fruit, vegetables, and dairy from nearby farms, and the fire pit and plancha grill we used every evening brought everyone together. The pool was lovely and secure, with a fence and cover, and the grounds are very well kept. Our group of 10 children and 9 adults had a wonderful week at Les Deux Abbesses. Laurence and Pierre gave us a perfect welcome. Their two houses are clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this peaceful, green spot in the Périgord region. The hosts are very friendly and professional, and had previously run a Relais & Châteaux property.
