After a long drive down from the channel port, the quiet location was a relaxing place to stop. We were only passing through on our way to the south of France, but the area looked interesting enough to deserve a longer visit. Christine and Thierry welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home right away. We also really enjoyed the evening meal they prepared. Thank you!

Staying here felt warm and familial, thanks to the very hospitable contact. The landscape is beautiful, with lovely little villages and pleasant people. One of the most idyllic places I’ve ever experienced.

The peaceful countryside around Monts du Lyonnais is a lovely setting, with beautiful walks around Maringe. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the bedding was really comfortable. Christiane and Thierry are friendly and take great care to make sure your stay goes smoothly. A very good guesthouse.

I've stayed in many bed and breakfasts, and this one left me disappointed. The meals have rather strict schedules, and the decor is more than a little unusual. There are no shutters in the room, the mattress is too small and has a piece of foam added on top, and the fitted sheet won't stay in place because it's the wrong size. Given the quality on offer, I don't understand the high ratings.

We had a comfortable, well-maintained room, and there are several restaurants nearby. We particularly enjoyed "Au P'tit Campagnar," which was excellent. The owners are lovely, and chatting with them over breakfast made for a very pleasant stay. An excellent bed and breakfast, highly recommended.
