This was an awful experience. I booked through Hotel.com for the vocal competition in Marmande, relying on the listing that said the hotel was a seven-minute walk from central station and showed it nearby on the map. In reality, it was a different address, a 40-minute walk away. I trusted the listing and didn't check the address on Google Maps before arriving, then found out it was wrong. Since my condition was important for the competition, I booked another place near central station. When I complained, the hotel didn't say whether I'd get a refund. The staff member didn't speak English well, and her manager was on vacation, so I only got a response afterward. They said they could refund me, so I had to wait. If they'd said no then, I wouldn't have booked another place as well. In the end, I wasn't refunded and paid twice. The hotel has since deleted my comment and hasn't replied to my email. It gave such irresponsible and incorrect information, then corrected the listing on Hotel.com. The screenshots I took as evidence of the wrong details on Hotel.com are now being deleted from Google. I've never dealt with such an irresponsible, fake hotel. Be careful, it's a long way from central station.

The staff were fairly helpful, which was the only good thing. The food was basic and average, and the place was absolutely filthy. The bed springs were easy to feel, the sink was broken, and the shower curtain was disgusting. I couldn't wait to leave and didn't even take pictures. I'll never stay here again.

There wasn't any toilet paper for two days, not even in the disabled toilet by reception, and there was no manager to complain to. I had booked a ground-floor room for reduced mobility, but was given a regular room on the first floor. They said they couldn't change it because the hotel was full, with Gendarmes attending a course. The room also wasn't serviced as requested. I'm utterly disgusted and would never use this hotel again.

After an 11-hour drive, the room was just what we needed, clean and comfortable. We got a text around 12:30 with the entry code and room number, which made check-in really easy since we could go straight to the room. We'd definitely stay again.

The Hotels.com map showed the hotel's location completely wrong. Its listing put it in the city center, but Google Maps shows the actual location elsewhere. My wife is pregnant and couldn't manage the long distance from the center, so I politely asked the hotel to cancel because we had booked based on its incorrect information. They refused and denied the obvious mistake. The service was very bad, with no understanding of the situation they caused. I'll pursue getting my money back however much effort it takes, and I strongly recommend against staying here in Marmande. UPDATE: I uploaded screenshots showing the wrong location in the Hotels.com app. After they changed the listing, they called me a liar.
