Breakfast was disappointing, just dry rolls and, a couple of days ago, cooked eggs. There was only butter, no cheese or anything else. The terrace was covered in dry flowers and other stuff. Can this really be true in France??? The rooms are simple, and you can hear everything from the neighbors. We’re really disappointed in this hotel.

The owner gave amazing service and paid great attention to us, and breakfast was very good. The room’s bathroom could really use a remodel, though.

We’ll visit again. It’s a fine old hotel in Alsace style, with kind staff, a large room and bathroom, good beds, and a fine breakfast.

In Marmoutier village in northeastern France, the location is very nice and the value for money is great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak English and French. Organizing things was not really difficult.

The local food is excellent, and it’s pet friendly with good value for money. Not bad.
