Maison Lou Piade

Anne-Laure made our first trip to the Dordogne so lovely, with her friendly welcome and all the extra effort she put into making our visit memorable. We were there for a few days to celebrate my husband's big birthday, and the rustic charm and beautiful setting made it feel like a real treat. Breakfast each morning was homemade with local ingredients and served with care. Anne-Laure also shared lots of tips for nearby places to see and helped with restaurant bookings. Anne Laure was such a warm host, and an amazing cook too. We loved spending a week at Maison Lou Piade. The restored farmhouse is full of care, the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the location is just right. The panoramic views from the outdoor pool were something else. The welcome at Maison Lou Piade felt like being greeted by a friend from the very start. The rooms are cozy, and the bed is superb. It's one of the most beautiful BnB's we've stayed in so far. Anne Laure puts a lot into making sure guests have an outstanding stay. She has suggestions for all sorts of activities and restaurants, and each morning she makes or bakes something different for breakfast. It's extraordinary, with great quality throughout and local products. I'd never pick another BnB in that region!

I felt very well looked after during my stay at Maison Lou Piade. Anne-Laure, the owner, greeted me so warmly, and she was full of useful ideas for exploring the region, from prehistoric caves to lovely gardens and villages. The house has been beautifully restored, with comfortable, stylish accommodation, and it's set among woodland where you can wander freely. I also really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and dinners she made, along with some lovely wines. Anne-Laure knows the local Perigord produce so well. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
