Premiere Classe Dijon Sud - Marsannay

There was plenty of parking, the price was very low, and the location near the Electra charger was handy. Towels and soap were provided. But the room was cold, the heating didn't work, and there was a strange smell. Self check-in failed, so we had to call an emergency number when we arrived.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, and it did what we needed for a one-night stop. We noticed a slight smell of smoke, which may have been because we're sensitive as non-smokers, though people smoking in the rooms below us were blowing smoke into ours. What we hadn't expected was hundreds of souped-up race cars and bikes, plus crowds of people gathering from about 9pm. After dark they revved engines, raced around, and hooted until after 3am. Then someone honked every few seconds for around 20 minutes, apparently leaving early or picking someone up, before getting in and slamming the car door. It was incredibly expensive for what we got, and I won't book with this hotel chain again. Lesson learned.

It's a one-star hotel, just as described, and for the price it's perfect for spending the night. Nothing fancy, just practical. That's why I gave it five stars.

The air conditioning isn't working, and nobody is doing anything about it. It's 00:38 and 28 degrees in the room. People are outside trying to cool off. You can hear every neighbour, and I guess that's how I know they're smoking.
