The restaurant downstairs had a lovely setting and atmosphere, and the food was excellent, especially the chicken. The owner was attentive and kept checking that everything was okay. It wasn’t very expensive given how good the meal was. The rooms are nice and clean, and the hotel is well located. They’ve done a good job turning a house into a hotel and restaurant. Wonderful place, highly recommended.

We were glad to get a table without a reservation while visiting Marsanne, since there aren’t many options in town. Dinner was a fantastic way to end the day and our stay in the Rhône-Alps. The dishes were delicious and the service was really nice. Time to recap, relax, and enjoy. Many thanks.

Book ahead, as they’re usually busy. The menu isn’t huge, but what they serve is reliably good and reasonably priced, making this typically French hotel and restaurant well worth a visit if you’re in the southern end of Drome. The Souris d'Agneau (lamb shank) and Magret de Canard are excellent. The sauces are a little unexpected, but you don’t have to get one. There’s a good selection of burgers, which seemed popular with the mostly local diners, including a vegetarian one. There’s also a veggie ravioli option, which I’m told is very good. The house wine is good and fairly priced, and there’s a nice selection of desserts.

The food was good and the staff were kind, though there was only one server, so service was slow. I spent two hours eating. Better to reserve for dinner on Wednesday.
