The chef was also our waiter, and he was so kind and attentive, taking time to explain the menu in bits of English and German. The food was absolutely great. My starter was fresh, tasty gravad salmon with a creamy accompaniment and crisp hashbrowns, followed by juicy, flavorful pheasant with escargots with a hint of fennel. Its rich sauce went perfectly with the meat and the well-prepared sides. My partner loved the foie gras with gingerbread-like bread, then had tender, flavorful confit pork with barley risotto and a dreamy creamy sauce. I can definitely recommend this place.

The chef is a really friendly fellow, clearly professional and attentive to the details, with a great feel for flavor. The food was so delicious I can't put it into words. It's a lovely spot for traditional French cooking in the middle of nowhere. Definitely recommend going for the food and French hospitality.

We've been a couple of times and have never left disappointed. The portions are generous and the cooking is inventive. It costs a bit more, but don't miss it.

Delicious food in a small, intimate place.

The chef really came through when we realized we'd forgotten to mention that one person in our group was vegetarian when we booked. They made a special plate that was truly amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, and we had an amazing bottle of wine with it.
