Appart'City Classic Marseille Euromed

Really good place, and the staff were lovely. I had a washing machine problem late at night, and the night shift reception guys were fantastic. One of them stayed with me, working on it until it was fixed.

I had to leave the hotel that same evening. The shower smelled strange, there was moisture in it, and they provided just one towel for two people. The curtains were dirty and the floor was cracked. The place also smelled bad, and the staff were rude and unprofessional. I know Odalys appartcity has some well-reviewed hotels, but this is the worst one I've seen. They took a €250 deposit, five times the room price, and a week later it still hadn't come back to my bank account. Don't book this hotel.

Abdul at the front desk was the reason my stay felt worthwhile. He was polite, helpful, and made me feel welcome. The service he gave me was better than what I've had at most five-star hotels.

The location worked well, close to the tram, and the staff were polite. But they took a €250 security deposit, three times what we paid for the room. Two weeks later it still hadn't been returned, even though staff had said it would take three days.
