Appartements Centre Marseille

We had a really bad experience. Communication was difficult, and they wouldn't agree to any fair solution for us. Never again.

The house manager was kind and tried her best, but the cleanliness when we arrived was appalling. Cleanliness matters a lot to me in a hotel or apartment, so I can't recommend this place. Street noise was an issue too. Everything else was fine, which is why I'm still giving it two stars.

I booked the house, with parking, for my family during my September wedding because we needed the space. Although the house was clean, the rooms only somewhat matched the pictures and looked nowhere near as nice in person. The little terrace was handy for breakfast but shady, chilly, and not as well kept as the photos suggested. It was a noisy house, with just one small bathroom, a shower covered in limescale, and only lukewarm water. There's no oven, in case that's important, and the grill needed cleaning. The manager was friendly, and the cleanliness earns the two stars. The reserved parking space was never available to me, which was especially inconvenient in that location, and the refund I was promised never came. With more reliable arrangements and better upkeep, I could have written a more positive review. As it was, I was disappointed.

The apartment was nice, but I wouldn't choose it for a family. I slipped in the bathroom several times, and a shower mat didn't solve that, then I fell on the stairs too. We were all adults, so it worked out fine for our group.
