Mayur S.
I spent two nights here and came away feeling trapped and cheated. I've stayed in budget inns and hostels while traveling in different countries, but this was easily the worst place I've ever encountered. The rates are outrageous for what you get, and paying that much for a smelly, suffocating box feels like daylight robbery. It's an insult to the idea of hospitality. The rooms are barely bigger than a bathroom. They're cramped and depressing, and there's hardly room to move without hitting a wall. The wide-angle photos make them look like somewhere a person could actually live, which feels deliberately misleading. Even the lift is so tight it feels like a coffin with your body standing upright. Marseille has much better and cheaper options. Save your money and your sanity. I wouldn't stay here again, and if I could give negative stars, I would. Zero is far too generous. This place should come with a health warning: DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH.

The location is good, but everything is so small, from the rooms to the lift and hallways. Fine for a night if you're not picky.

Marseille is a really interesting place, but this isn't a good example of what a B&B Hotel stands for. There are much better hotels in the area that actually care about their customers, so I'd take my money elsewhere. Its lower rating is there for a reason. The staff didn't deal with my room's A/C, even after I asked twice. The window had a note warning about too many mosquitoes outside and advising against opening it, so I had to sleep in what felt like a sauna. The machines were a mess too. The soda machine took my money and gave me no drink, and there was no water in it for my whole stay. The coffee machine only gave milk, no coffee. The website says you can ask for an extra pillow, but staff told me that wasn't an option. At night, receptionists stayed in a back room with a camera instead of at the desk, almost as if they were scared to be there. There's no bathroom in the desk area either. You can't go upstairs by stairs unless an employee lets you in, even though the room code won't open the stair door for some strange reason. At night, you also need an employee's permission to take the lift upstairs. The lift is extremely tight, only for two people at a time.

Prices are very reasonable and the facilities are decent. It's a great location for tourists, with most places within walking distance and the metro, bus, and tram nearby.

The room wasn't cleaned on the first day, which was frustrating. We also had to request fresh towels two days in a row. The hotel is in a superb spot near the old harbor, and the price is good for what you get.
