Clean, renovated rooms and a good spot near the beach. The major problem was cockroaches, which came out at night.

It’s a friendly, welcoming place, and the rooms are roomy and renovated. The hotel is well connected, with Plage des Catalans and Marseille city center just a short walk away. A lovely stay on the Mediterranean.
I wouldn’t stay here unless there were no other choices, and even then only if it cost under €20 a night and you can sleep through anything. Honestly, I’ve found an air mattress in a tent more comfortable. The mattress is hard but you still sink into it, and lying down hurts my back. I couldn’t sleep on my side. The pillows are just as bad, with what feels like broken-down foam inside and no shape at all. They remind me of a memory foam pillow I once washed in the machine, which I had to throw out afterward.
We had a really pleasant stay after the hotel’s renovations. The rooms were modern and clean, and the beach is only 100 meters away. Staff were attentive and quick to help. Thanks, we’ll come back on our next vacation.
At Hôtel du Pharo in Marseille, I found the room clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the service was excellent. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
