The staff were very nice, and the basic breakfast for €10 wasn’t bad. Everything else needs a complete overhaul. The electrics seemed dodgy, the TV didn’t work, and WiFi was nonexistent outside reception. The bathroom was so tiny it felt claustrophobic, and the bedside lamp plug had just one pin. Reception shuts at 8 pm, so you have to let yourself in through a side door. There are no staff on duty overnight, and with only one way in and out, I hate to think what could happen if there were a fire.

The rooms were okay, not incredibly dirty but not great either, and service was fine. Communication could be difficult sometimes since some staff didn’t speak basic English. Breakfast cost 10 euros for very low quality food and no options.

The price is good, it’s near the city centre, and plenty of transport options are close by. But this was called "Hotel Le Huitieme" before and now they call it a hotel too, though I wouldn’t consider it one. The bathroom is in the room, but the toilet is shared. Reception isn’t open 24/7, and when we arrived it was shut. We had to call the number on the front door to get the entry code and let ourselves in. At night, we were woken to verify our identity, and this happened each day just as we were leaving to go sightseeing.
