Le Couvent du Vieux Port

Béatrice really made our stay special. She loves Marseille and clearly cares about running a BnB. She greeted us with the keys at the agreed time, then suggested places to eat, ice cream shops, and things to do since we hadn't decided what to see. She even booked a restaurant for us, kept our bags on our last day, and arranged a taxi/van pickup. We followed all her suggestions, and they turned a pleasant visit into a fabulous one. We chose BnB Jardin Vieux Port Panier so our children could have a different experience from a standard hotel. It's in Marseille's historic Panier area, about a five minute walk from the vieux port, shops, and restaurants. The apartment was spacious, air conditioned, and beautifully renovated while retaining its charm. With three bedrooms, our whole family had enough room, and guests can use the lovely courtyard garden. We'd absolutely recommend staying here.

Right in the busy Panier, this place feels so sweet and peaceful. Béatrice is wonderful. I wish I'd had more time to talk with her, she's such an inspiring and interesting person!

The garden felt like a little oasis from busy Marseille, and I slept really well because it was so quiet. The coffee machine made great coffee, too. I don't eat breakfast, so I didn't order it. I got there before 3:00 PM, and the lovely hostess sent me details for a luggage drop box so I could leave my suitcase. She even offered a free cancellation if I didn't like the place, but I was happy to stay. She also sent me lots of tips. Thanks 🩷

Beatrice and Mathias were so kind and helpful, they made us feel at home. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom was a real highlight. The large shower worked perfectly. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, which felt too short. All three of us had a lovely time in this wonderful property, right in the heart of Marseille's beautiful Panier neighborhood. We can't wait to return, thank you so much! Antonella-Italy
