The balcony overlooking the port was my favorite part, and the room layout made good use of the space. Staff at the front desk were gracious and accommodating, and the location is surrounded by shops and restaurants. I’d only stay here for a short visit, though, not more than a week. There’s no heated towel rack in the bathroom, and the room outlets need replacing.
Right in the middle of the old port, with restaurants, cafes and shops all around. The room was quite small, but the shower was fantastic and people were generally friendly and nice. Breakfast was pleasant, though the selection was limited and it felt a bit expensive. Phone charging points by the bed would be useful.
The Vieux-Port setting is what makes this place for me. You’re right by the harbor, with lovely views and Marseille’s restaurants, shops and lively waterfront close at hand. There may be other hotels nearby, but this one gave me the feeling of really being in Marseille. For me, staying here is all about that location and the experience of the city around it.
The reception team, on both day and night shifts, went out of their way to handle any special requests. Everyone was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Great location too. We’d happily recommend this hotel.
We had a fantastic balcony and one of the nicest views I’ve ever seen. The place felt classy and high quality, and the staff were friendly. They included a free bottle of wine, and the minibar prices were very reasonable. Can’t wait to return.
