I liked the clean rooms and the decor was even nicer. The atmosphere and the brand approach appealed to me too, and the morning buffet was amazing.

The bed was very comfortable, the staff helpful, and the A/C worked well. I travel with black tape, luckily, because the TV's LED indicator was too bright. The location felt a little sketchy, but otherwise it was a nice hotel. The deposit was also quite large, and Booking.com hadn't warned me about it.

The reception staff made the stay for me. I had an early train from Marseille St Charles station and had never used Marseille's metro, so they gave me a useful map and the confidence to find my way. The bar and restaurant had a nice buzz, too. My room was small, which seemed reflected in the price. One annoyance: the climate control was broken and its flashing light kept me up, so I covered it with cardboard. Nothing major, and I’m looking forward to coming back.

The decor is amazing, and the brand has a fun, creative feel. The room was great, the bedding wonderful, and breakfast very good. With Marseille being all about the sea, the theme works so well. Having a microwave in the room was a really nice touch, too.
