After driving 900 km, we arrived at 8 pm and only then found out there was a problem with the payment. We had booked through Hotels.com, paid on the site, and hadn't cancelled, but apparently the card hadn't gone through even though the money was debited from our account. They made us pay again to get a room. We didn't know the area and didn't want to sleep outside, so we felt forced to do it. Who are we supposed to believe? We're still waiting for the refund for the duplicate charge. Never again. The room was a mess too. I don't know how the owner got permission to host people there. Nothing met the standard: the TV didn't work, you could hear everyone, the bed wasn't even screwed in, and the toilet and shower were shared and had no locks. Between the accommodation and Hotels.com, the whole thing was chaos. Neither could make up for the other. Never again.

The room felt unsafe and neglected: it was dirty, smelled unpleasant, and had a dangerous electrical cable. There was no toilet or shower in our room, even though some rooms had them, and the sink was dirty too. The windows wouldn’t shut, and the balcony ran along the whole building, so someone from the neighboring room could get into ours while we were away. At reception, they had our reservation but said the hotel was full. The staff member said he didn’t care, and the argument got loud enough to feel like a fight.

Our room was in terrible shape: dirty floors and no cleaning, no hot water, and a door that wouldn’t close. We left the lights on and hid our bags under the bed for at least a little security. There was only a mattress cover and an unwashed duvet, no sheets, and a perfumed throw. We had booked six beds for six people but found only two, so three of us shared one and two shared the other. The common areas and bathrooms were filthy, with urine and other waste visible. Getting the room was a struggle. We waited outside for over 40 minutes until another guest let us in. The person there said they no longer worked with Booking.com, shouted at us, and was arguing with another guest so aggressively it nearly became a fight. After more than an hour of negotiating, she finally gave us a room. We couldn’t afford another place, so otherwise we would have been sleeping outside. Shame on this establishment. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Bring cash to pay, even if you’ve already paid online. They’ll ask you to pay again, and there’s no card reader. The place itself is a disaster: broken doors, no lock on the toilet, and no sheets, toilet paper, or towels. There’s basically nothing there, just a wasteland. I can’t believe somewhere like this is still being rented. Avoid it.
