The room itself was nice, but arriving was a mess. It was dark, nobody was there to welcome us, and we hadn't been told how to find the room at the back of the house. No one picked up when we called. Booking eventually gave us a mobile number, and we got through to our host, who was out and had left the key in the back door. It still took us about an hour to locate it. The next morning, our friendly host apologized over a French breakfast. I don't think a 3-star rating is too critical, since an email or phone call could easily have prevented this. It just wasn't the stay we'd expected from the reviews.

We had a little terrace right outside our room, with a table and chairs where we enjoyed herbal tea. The accommodation was clean, charmingly furnished, and private. Breakfast was a real treat, with sunshine coming through the bay window and a lovely view. The host was so friendly and welcoming, and the surroundings were peaceful, green, and full of flowers in spring. I highly recommend it.

We stayed one night on each of two trips, two weeks apart. It's wonderfully quiet, right in the middle of nowhere. Christine was very friendly and attentive, and we simply loved the place.

The hostess gave us such a warm welcome. The room was lovely and the location very good, and breakfast was excellent with a view over the beautiful garden. A wonderful B&B, and somewhere I'd gladly return to.
