That breakfast terrace was such a nice spot to sit, whether we were eating or just unwinding among all the well-kept plants. We only had breakfast twice. The buffet was good quality, with bread, croissants, pain au raisins, pain au chocolate, ham, little cheeses, fruit, yogurt, two cereals, and a nice choice of tea, coffee and juice. I’m just not much of a continental breakfast person, and missed my scrambled eggs. We stayed six nights and found the hotel lovely. The owners clearly care about keeping it clean and comfortable. Our bed was comfortable, the bathroom stayed clean, and there was maid service daily. It was quiet during the day, and a couple of afternoons we had the pool to ourselves until 16.30.

The room was fresh and very clean, with a great bath and a comfy bed. I liked the vintage feel of the desk and clothing armoire, and there were extra outlets for charging our electronics. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was cool and quiet. We got a warm welcome from the host and hostess when we arrived. They spoke exceptionally good English and were happy to recommend nearby points of interest. They seemed able to accommodate just about anything. Plus, plus, plus.

We loved the quiet here, away from all the bustle. The small library was a lovely touch, and it was a pleasure to relax and read in such a calm place. The rooms have a distinctly Provençal feel, and the owner was friendly and helpful. My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Mistral a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time.
