Dinner stood out most for us, the best meal we had in France, and you could tell it was made with care. The place was practical and clean, and we slept really well. There were mosquito nets on the windows.

The breakfast was really generous, and we enjoyed the meal just as much. We had a mixed salad with fricandeau and other charcuterie, excellent lamb shank, then strawberries with whipped cream. The rooms were very clean, and we were welcomed by an unusual character, "the American." Perfect!

Don't skip this place if you're hiking. The owner is generous, and the breakfast was enormous, with dinner just as lavish. We also took a packed lunch with us and were glad we did. An unmissable stop. Thank you, thank you!

The food is what we'll remember most from this stop. Patrick, the owner, served us homemade ravioli with cream and wild mushrooms, lamb shanks with dauphinois gratin, then warm cherries with kirsch and vanilla ice cream. What a meal. We were a group of 12 and had booked a night almost by chance, mainly to stay near Aven Arman. The welcome felt authentic, and the rooms were very clean, though a little short on character. Breakfast was superb too, especially the local jams with their intense flavors. Exceptional products and a chef who clearly loves his work. Highly recommended for an affordable gourmet stopover.

Dinner felt expensive for the setting and what was on offer. The hotel is in an incredible, almost magical location, and the room was simple but clean. Breakfast was very good, with quality products.
