Chambord is close by, so getting there is easy. We found the house a little paradise, a peaceful place to stay. The lovely English couple who own it have great taste, and their beautiful English garden is a big part of its charm.

We could reach Chambon Castle by bike, and the house itself was beautiful, with a lovely, well-kept garden. The owners welcomed us warmly when we arrived and even helped us find a restaurant with an available table, since everywhere seemed fully booked. Highly recommended.
