Breakfast was a continental spread with local cheese, bread, pastries, and more. The hotel is in a quiet village étape, with a big garden near a river. The owners are very friendly, and the room was comfortable. I'd recommend it and would stay again.

We found a large, beautiful garden and a lovely patio behind the hotel, with a stream running by. It was too dark when we arrived to see the grounds. We were travelling from the UK to Spain in September 2016 and planned to drive overnight, but got too tired and hadn't booked ahead. We took a chance by leaving the A75 at Massiac and found the Colombiere. The receptionist was very pleasant and had a room for us and our dog. The room was very clean and quiet, though the furniture was a bit shabby and could use an update. Maybe that was because it was a pet-friendly room. We didn't have time to try the food, so can't comment on it. We'd definitely return if we're in the area, and highly recommend it.
