Les Cailloux Dorés

We spent two nights here in July and really enjoyed it. The owners do so much to make guests feel welcome, and the room and pool area were beautiful. There’s a cozy sitting area and a great breakfast, too. We liked that there was no TV in the room, it made the stay feel like a real getaway. The surrounding area is lovely, with lots of places to visit. It’s definitely somewhere we’d return to.

Leaving was the hardest part. Breakfast is divine, and there are quiet private spots to relax, cool off, lounge, plan a hike, or play pinball and cards. @ Les Caillous Dorés, you’ll find a genuine welcome and personal attention, with a space where every need seems anticipated. The decor is beautiful, balancing local touches with influences from further away. Thank you, I’ll definitely come back.

Sandrine was incredibly attentive throughout our nine-night family stay with our baby. She baked delicious cakes every day and set up the full breakfast buffet even though we were the only two guests. The fresh food was wonderful, and she recommended a different restaurant for each evening and made the reservations for us. We loved every dinner. When we asked about a mosquito net for the baby, she bought one, and she even put a swiss busbar in our room without us asking. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, thanks to the lovely housekeeping lady Cinthia, who did a great job. We also enjoyed the pool and its beautiful area, and the water was just the right temperature. There was a bar with two Pinball machines, a fridge with cold drinks for sale, and another fridge we could use for our own food and drinks. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend the place wholeheartedly. Thank you, Sandrine & Michael, for having us. We hope to return. Manuel, Derya & Tom.

It’s a nice place, but the location isn’t ideal. The rooms can get stuffy and very hot because there’s no airflow. The hosts gave us fans, but they didn’t solve it for us.
