The hotel is part of the same group as “Residhome,” which is at the other corner of the crossing. You enter with a badge that has a magnetic strip, and it also opens the front door when reception is closed. Good value for money. The rooms are clean but not especially modern, and the bathroom feels a little dated. Breakfast is standard, nothing fancy. Parking costs extra. It isn’t cheap, but it’s not ridiculously expensive either.

The staff were kind and very helpful, and breakfast was better than average for what we paid. Those were the only bright spots. For around 80 euros for two, this was a poor deal. We were there because we had an early TGV and wanted somewhere close, not to visit Paris, which is an hour away by train. The station, including TGV, is only 400m away. There’s no reception after 7pm, so you have to check in at another hotel. No vending machine either, and the nearest place for water was a restaurant where a 500ml bottle cost 3 euros. There was no shampoo. The room was around 35 degrees at night, and I was surprised an 80 euro hotel had no AC. They gave us a little fan that barely helped in summer. With two big windows and another block of buildings 100m away, we had to choose between privacy with the windows shut and roasting, or opening them. We opened them and got dozens of mosquitos that kept us awake. I seriously wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially in summer.

The rooms are like mini apartments, so you can cook your own meal. There are a few nearby restaurants, though their menus are quite similar. The hotel itself doesn’t have a restaurant, but its sister hotel across the road does, and the food there is brilliant. The staff are very friendly, and I thought the hotel was brilliant. The area is being developed a lot, with global companies moving their headquarters here instead of central Paris, so I expect it to get much busier. Definitely recommend.

The mattress was light but very clean, and I didn’t find any bugs on it. Beyond that, the room was a mess. In the first hour we killed around 10 different bugs. There was a booger on the shower curtain, the fridge and kitchen hotplate didn’t work, and neither did the bathroom fans, so it was damp and stuffy. The floorboards outside the bathroom were warped and water damaged, with signs of mold. The shower drainage seems badly placed, since water runs into the room unless you aim the showerhead into the corner where it’s mounted. There were dents and holes in the walls, no headboard, and none of the nice amenities shown on the website. The advertised “Free Breakfast” was two cereals without milk, some toast, packaged madeleines and small croissants. There was no AC, despite the website and Google listing it, and no iron or ironing board. WiFi couldn’t load pictures, only basic text. Laundry coins came from a vending machine in the gym, which was open 7am-7pm, though front desk hours sometimes meant 8am-6pm. Common area carpets had questionable stains and smells, and everything smelled of smoke. This clearly didn’t feel like a smoke-free property. Customer service was poor. We told them about the problems and didn’t get a room change for two days. I’d never pay more than €40/night for this, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for work travel. I can provide photos of all these complaints.
