The scenery around the campsite is beautiful, and there’s plenty for families to do. The pool was clean, with a slide, a jacuzzi for guests over 14, separate toddler, children’s and adult pools, and lifeguards. There’s also a lake walk, plus ping pong, mini golf, tennis, volleyball and football. The facilities include showers, toilets, a washing machine and a coin-operated dryer. Mini golf cost €5 for one adult and one child. A few things to keep in mind: there were more flies than I’d expect in warm weather, and some pitches weren’t shaded despite what the website says. Parts of the site are hilly. Accessible pitches, toilets and showers are available, but in the one disabled shower I used, I had to move a secure hanging chair from the drying area into the shower, then move it back to dry off. That could be difficult without help for someone who uses a wheelchair full time or has limited mobility. On some nights, music from a wedding venue up the road in the village can carry on past midnight. I heard it on a Saturday, though it doesn’t happen every night.

The staff were friendly, and the sanitary buildings were very clean. One has an odd layout beneath reception and the restaurant. Walking through it in the dark felt a bit creepy, with the toilets right at the back. There’s plenty of shade at the campsite, and campers can use the neighboring swimming pool for free with their wristband. You can’t order bread at the site, but there’s a bakery and small supermarket about a five-minute walk away.

We stayed in a tent with our three children. It was comfortable, with electricity and water, and there were sports activities too. The swimming pool was especially good, for the kids and for us. Friendly people and good service. We really loved it and would recommend it!

The pool next door was good for both adults and children, and the campsite itself is lovely, well laid out and in a beautiful area. The facilities were excellent. There’s a bar with simple snacks and drinks, and my wife especially liked the Croque Monsieur. We were worried about security at night. At least three pedestrian gates were left unlocked throughout our visit, and the main entrance barrier was never shut. Vehicles could drive in at 3.00am, and young people wandered noisily through the site. We and other campers raised the issue, but the staff didn’t seem to understand what the problem was. The area outside the campsite seemed to be where local youngsters gathered.

We’re staying here now and it’s excellent. It’s a small campsite with enough shade, and the owners are very friendly. The municipal pool right beside it is free for campers. I’d highly recommend it.
