Angelina was warm and engaging, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, each with its own bathroom, and very quiet. But getting around was a real problem for our group of friends visiting the Ardennes. The nearest restaurant was at least a 30-minute walk and wouldn't serve us, while the supermarket was 40 minutes away. Those were the only options in town, so the location didn't work for us. We booked because of the jacuzzi, which was shown in several property photos, but the owner, sounding irritated, said we couldn't use it unless we paid extra. There had been no option or notice about an extra charge in the booking description, so we assumed it was included. The owner's response later said the jacuzzi was at an alternative place called el rancho el taillis, but searching that name leads to the very property where we stayed. The photos clearly show the jacuzzi, though I agree the written description doesn't mention it. Why show it, then? It felt misleading. We also got no instructions about waste or recycling, so guests can't be expected to know what to do. When we arrived, the garden furniture cushions were scattered on the floor under the cover because it had apparently been raining. A bit more care with presentation would have made a better first impression. We had to ask for milk for tea and coffee, too. Sorry guys, there's room to improve if you want repeat guests.

The owners were friendly, and the place has a peaceful, relaxing feel whether you go riding or not. The accommodation was clean, the food was good, and there are some nice villages nearby.

Friendly owners, nice rooms and location, and a great time horse riding.

We really enjoyed the quiet here last summer, and Angelina and Max welcomed us warmly and shared tips for seeing the lovely surroundings. The gites were well equipped, with a beautiful kitchen, big fridge and dishwasher, plus a living room and outdoor space. Each lovely bedroom had its own bathroom. Outside, we had sun loungers, ordinary chairs, a dining table, an outdoor kitchen, and the jacuzzi. What a treat.

We had a very friendly welcome and loved the atmosphere. The accommodation was great, and there's a good restaurant in town. Highly recommended.
