The pool was a real highlight, with lots of sun loungers and enough space that it never felt full. We also had a superb room looking over the harbour, and the staff helped us out with maps and suggestions for places to visit nearby. I spent a week there at the end of August 2017 and loved the place. Bars and the beach were an easy walk away.

The rooms can get noisy if you’re below someone dragging furniture over the tiled floor. It’s like chalk scraping an old blackboard, especially awful at 11pm when you’re trying to sleep! On the other hand, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Julie in particular is brilliant at finding practical, flexible solutions, and does it with real good grace.
