Auberge du Chêne

The building and garden are quaint and pretty, and there's a good restaurant next door for dinner. Inside, my bijou room was spotless, with blackout curtains, and the service was attentive and excellent. The location is quiet despite the nearby road, and free parking was a plus. Highly recommended!

The bed was a bit too small and not especially comfortable, but everything else made this a great B&B-style stop just a few minutes from the motorway. The host was super friendly, and breakfast included fresh croissants and bread from his partner's bakery, plus jams made from fruit from their place and the restaurant next door.

The shaded terrace was a peaceful escape from the heat, and the owner was friendly and helpful. I really appreciated being allowed to bring my dog onto the patio. Lunch was elegant, with generous servings of both food and wine, and the fish was sumptuous. The gaspacho was just right as a starter during a heat wave. The décor is fun, and this is my favorite place in the region.

Traffic forced us to stop at this restaurant unexpectedly, and it turned into a wonderful find. The owner was very helpful, the menu was interesting, and the place has plenty of character. It was a welcome pause on a difficult day.
