The breakfast was filling enough to last us through the day, and the room and shared spaces were spotless. We also really appreciated the warm welcome. The hosts made room for us later than planned so we could still keep our reservation.

The house has a lovely, almost magical charm, and the hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming. We weren't as happy with the room comfort or the shared bathroom. Breakfast was generous in quantity, though the quality didn't impress us much.

The room itself is roomy and has a sink, but you have to use the bathroom and toilet on the landing. There’s a mezzanine in each room, reached by ladder, which didn’t seem practical or safe for little kids. This is a room in someone’s home rather than a bed and breakfast, so going through the owners’ living room every time you leave or return feels awkward. The first breakfast was disappointing, with everything pre-packaged. After we mentioned it, Elsa got fresh bread and baked cakes herself, which made things much better. 🙂

The room was lovely and spacious, and it’s a wonderful house with very gracious hosts. Sharing the bathroom is the one drawback. Still, I’d recommend it.

My son and I were very happy with our stay. The breakfast was generous and had a nice, friendly feel. The owners are kind and fascinating, and this guest house is beautiful, full of charm and history. They gave us great tips for walks and places to visit, and you can tell they talk about those places with love. :)
