The room was so comfortable, especially the luxurious linen sheets, and the air conditioning was essential in the summer heat. We were there for just one night but came away feeling like we’d had two weeks away. The château itself is gorgeous, and the pool was lovely to use in the afternoon. We enjoyed both the BBQ lunch and Sunday evening Pizza Party, and the food was amazing. You can tell they care about using fresh, local ingredients and preparing everything thoughtfully. There’s a great wine list, and I loved being able to get a drink at the bar all afternoon while relaxing by the pool. Château Engalin is now my favorite summer weekend getaway.

The area around Chateu Engalin is so peaceful, it’s a wonderful spot to unwind and get away from everything. I had a great long weekend and plan to come back as soon as I can. Jeremy and Marwan were fantastic hosts, making sure all the little details were taken care of. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the house is laid out really well. The food was amazing too, which made sense since Marwan used to own a restaurant in London. I heard they were opening as a boutique hotel that summer, with food as part of the experience, and I’ll definitely be back.

The chef and owner, Marwan, was the real highlight, serving us delicious, delightful meals in the new Food Lab. The château has grand exteriors and striking modern interiors, a standout compared with the usual places to stay in the area. We loved our long weekend here and feel lucky to have had the chance to stay. Thank you!

The food was out of this world, and the BBQ lamb was a definite yes. I also appreciated their food ethics. Our three-night stay was unbelievably beautiful and relaxing, with peaceful rooms and fantastic beds. I haven’t slept that well in years. The home cinema was amazing for a late-night Bond film, too. Thanks to Jeremy and Marwan for a brilliant stay. I came home feeling great and can’t wait to return.
