The communal dinner could have helped make up for things, but the owner used it to criticize whatever came to mind, guests included, and talk about himself. The atmosphere felt frosty, with military-style rules. He made his dislike of tourists clear, saying they drive too slowly and that he only does the job to top up his pension. The price is steep for what you get compared with other B&Bs nearby. Keep walking unless you enjoy that sort of place.

The location makes it easy to explore this beautiful region, and it’s a lovely spot if you want quiet and time to relax. The rooms are well kept, the view is wonderful, and we got a very friendly welcome. Highly recommended!
