My room was a bit small, but otherwise fine, with a very nice bathroom that had been recently renovated. The hotel sits near a busy road, a few miles from the old centre, but my room faced the garden inside, so I didn’t hear any noise. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay, though the “boiled” eggs were stone cold, straight from the fridge.

We were very dissatisfied. The staff weren’t helpful, and the rooms had no fridge, water, or slippers. We were charged tourist tax twice, once through Hotels.com and again at the lobby. Breakfast was overpriced for the selection.

I booked five rooms, and they all smelled of old carpet. I spent the night spraying deodorant on the carpet. We had two disabled people in our group and had booked ground-floor rooms with air conditioning, but those rooms had no air conditioning. There’s no lift, so moving the family upstairs was difficult. The hotel has no disability access. The receptionist was really arrogant and wouldn’t accept our problems. It’s a shame the hotel photos don’t show what it’s really like, since the rooms look like luxury three-star rooms in the pictures. I’d give it one star or less. Please avoid it.

The staff were quite nice and spoke decent English, and the food was good. But the rooms are tiny, with no ventilation, let alone air conditioning, which is unacceptable in a hot French summer. Most windows have a horrible view. There’s no accessibility for disabled guests, no elevator, and the rooms are too small for a wheelchair. We had a group booking, and getting the agreed discount was a big problem even though it had been discussed and settled by phone. We had to press the manager the next morning. There are better hotels nearby for the same price.
